What strikes me in these two photos is the contrast. Both are beautiful times of the year.

The first picture makes me feel like jump out of the house, go for a game of golf, a long drive on the countryside, or just a walk around the neighbourhood, do some gardening, eat something fruity, and end the day with a couple of beers.

The second on the other hand, gives a feeling of staying put at home, do nothing, watch a movie, eat something masaaledaar, and end the day with a few pegs of 'pakki'.

I love both times of the year for the change they bring along, in your routine, and your mood.

like autumn cuz it depicts the true picture of our lives. When autumn comes around in the garden I love to sit beside a leafless tree, I want to feel the pain of those mutilated leaves, maimed by the autumn's spear, lying on the green grass and bleeding to death.

Jas,

The weather out west has been making headlines in the news here. Where have all the warm air chinooks disappeared to ?

Chai drinker,

'Corny' would be an understatement. :)

Now how about you post of a pic of yourself in a virginal white dress/salwar kameez looking all innocent and angelic... :)

Farhan,

A most vivid description, albeit a tad depressing. Still, next time some 5 year old asks me about the seasons, I might re-quote you when talking about autumn.... :)

Excuses for drinking? How about this? " Mein saal ch do din hee peenda haan, ikk jiddan meeh painda aa, te ikk jiddan meeh nahin painda. Odaan mein jyada shaukeen nee shraab shroob da." ;)

Thats hilarious Doc Saab...Mein saal ch do din hee peenda haan, ikk jiddan meeh painda aa, te ikk jiddan meeh nahin painda. Odaan mein jyada shaukeen nee shraab shroob da.

Sphere Bhaji, the Chinooks needed some rest, so they decided to go vacationing for a couple of days!! They are back!! :)

The punch line 'Odaan mein jyaada shaukeen nee shraab shroob da' makes it hillarious.

Summer, all the way!!! Though, winter is quite enjoyable when skiing or skating. And especially after a fresh snow, and all the branches of trees are white! That's beautiful!

guess that comes from living in Florida which has practically no seasons!
